Abstract

This community service program was initiated in response to the continued use of manual population data recording methods in Karang Anyar Village, Secanggang District, which has resulted in a slow, inefficient, and error-prone data collection process. The program aimed to equip village officials and administrative staff of Karang Anyar Village with the skills to use Google Form and Google Drive in order to improve the quality of population data recording services. The service partners involved in this program were village officials and administrative staff, consisting of the village head, village secretary, heads of administrative affairs, section heads, operators, staff members, and hamlet heads, with a total of 15 participants. The program was implemented through four stages, namely preliminary assessment, training implementation, outcome evaluation, and report preparation. The training was conducted in the form of a workshop that integrated material presentation, hands-on practice, question-and-answer sessions, and interactive discussions. The training materials included an introduction to Google Form, its main features, techniques for designing forms for population data recording, and the use of Google Drive as a cloud-based data storage medium. The evaluation results obtained through questionnaires indicated that 96% of participants gave highly positive responses to the implementation of the program, demonstrated a high level of interest, and expressed satisfaction with the materials delivered. In addition, the participants expressed their expectation that similar programs would be conducted continuously in the future.
