The rapid growth of digital content consumption on social media requires creative practitioners, particularly vocational students, to possess competencies in producing dynamic visual assets. A significant challenge in vocational education is the limitation of hardware infrastructure, which often hinders the learning of industry-standard, resource-intensive motion graphics software. This community service project aims to transform the skills of vocational high school students by utilizing a Design-as-a-Service (DaaS) platform, specifically Adobe Express. The partners for this project are 11th-grade students majoring in Multimedia at SMK Negeri 9 Medan. The implementation method followed three primary stages: identifying partner needs, conducting intensive workshops on animation principles and branding, and providing hands-on mentoring for social media advertisement production. During the training, students learned to transform static poster designs into motion graphic advertisements, emphasizing visual hierarchy, timing, and adaptive layouting for digital marketing requirements. The results indicate a significant improvement in the quality of student work, demonstrating their ability to produce short-form video advertisements with smooth and professional transitions. Furthermore, the use of a cloud-based platform proved effective in overcoming technical hardware constraints at the school without compromising the essence of creativity or the quality of the visual output. This initiative equips students at SMK Negeri 9 Medan with a more efficient multimedia production workflow that is highly relevant to current creative industry trends.
